According to UK media reports, Newcastle United has firmly denied claims that it has held any negotiations with Manchester United or any other club regarding a potential deal for Bruno Guimarães, and they will enter talks with the midfielder over a record-breaking new contract.

Earlier this week, reports suggested that the two Premier League clubs had begun negotiations for a blockbuster transfer of the Brazilian midfielder. However, sources close to Newcastle, speaking to reporters, quickly moved to refute these claims, insisting that no such discussions had taken place.
Alongside Guimarães, speculation has also been rife surrounding Sandro Tonali, Anthony Gordon, and Tino Livramento, with Newcastle making it clear that they will not entertain any approaches.
Reporters understand that Guimarães himself is aware of the growing interest but has not pushed for a move. The midfielder is believed to be open to committing his future to the club, and Newcastle are prepared to reward him accordingly.
As previously reported by the media, discussions over a new long-term contract are expected to take place, with a deal worth over £200,000 per week already waiting for Guimarães.
Guimarães is highly regarded across Europe, with Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain all monitoring his progress closely over the long term.
Nevertheless, Newcastle's stance remains unchanged. As the summer transfer window approaches, the club has once again made it clear that a deal involving their Brazilian star will not happen anytime soon.
