Everton manager David Moyes has stated that Jack Grealish is likely to require surgery.

Grealish sustained a stress fracture in his foot during Everton's match against Aston Villa. Regarding the player's condition, Moyes said: “We believe Jack Grealish will probably need to undergo surgery. While nothing has been fully confirmed yet, this would likely mean he misses the remainder of the season.”
“We have been clarifying the situation, because remember, he is not actually our player – he belongs to Manchester City. Normally in such injury cases, the parent club takes over responsibility. However, at the moment, it seems we will still have to manage most of Grealish's affairs, and we can't send him back early. Nor would you do that given the financial sums involved.”
Grealish is on loan at Everton from Manchester City this season, having made 22 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 6 assists.
