According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Monaco has put forward a proposal to terminate Paul Pogba’s contract.

Romano states that Monaco hopes to reach a mutual contract termination with Paul Pogba before September 1, the summer transfer window deadline, so that he can find a new club within this year.
The final decision lies with Paul Pogba, who is currently sidelined through injury. As reported by French media Nice‑Matin and Le Parisien, Monaco has notified Pogba’s representatives.
Multiple French outlets revealed yesterday that Paul Pogba suffered another injury during Monaco’s pre‑season training. Citing Nice‑Matin, Le Parisien confirmed that Monaco is looking to terminate Pogba’s contract. The information was subsequently verified by other French media including L’Equipe and RMC.
Reportedly, Monaco had already decided to part ways with Pogba prior to this latest injury. The two sides are expected to finalise a financial agreement over contract termination before the summer transfer window closes on September 1.
