According to Italian media reports, Napoli are looking to extend Scott McTominay's contract to ensure he remains at the club long-term.

It is understood that last season marked McTominay's first league title win, and the player is eager to secure another championship, which is why he and the club are set to sit down for contract extension talks. McTominay's current deal expires in the summer of 2028, and he has attracted interest from numerous top clubs. Napoli are keen to finalize a new contract with him now, extending his stay until 2030.

With the winter transfer window now closed, finalizing McTominay's contract is Napoli's top priority. McTominay currently earns a net salary of €3 million plus bonuses at Napoli, and this figure is set to be increased in light of his on-field performances. His agent will travel to Napoli next month to begin formal discussions over the extension.
