According to the latest reports from French journalists, Axel Disasi, Chelsea’s French defender, is still expected to leave the club.

West Ham United has opened talks with the Blues over a loan deal for Disasi until the end of the season, though the Hammers are not the only team interested in him.
Will Axel Disasi leave Chelsea this time? Last summer, he came close to leaving on loan but ultimately stayed in London due to limited loan options for the French defender.
To date this season, the member of France’s 2022 World Cup runner-up squad has not made a single first-team appearance, but he has resumed training since Liam Rosenior took over as Chelsea’s head coach.
A loan exit still seems highly likely. West Ham United has publicly expressed its interest in the player in recent days and has begun negotiations with cross-town rivals Chelsea. The Hammers are not the only club looking to sign him.
Chelsea is limited to seven international loan slots, which is expected to once again impact the final destination of the 27-year-old former AS Monaco player, whose contract with Chelsea runs until 2029.
