Prediction: City Wins
Our prediction for Manchester City v Galatasaray is City Wins and BTTS. This match is a crucial one for both teams in terms of making it to the round of 16. It is a must-win, and we expect both teams to go for it and not set up defensively.
City and Gala are free-scoring teams and are both very capable of scoring not once but multiple times here. Victor Osimhen and Erling Haaland are in top form and will be out to strengthen their top scorer credentials. It is therefore very much possible that weâll get to see both teams get on the scoresheet.

Manchester City beat Wolves 2-0 on Saturday to return to winning ways. They will hope for more of that in midweek to qualify for the next round directly. City know how tricky the UCL playoffs are after they were eliminated from the competition two seasons ago as title holders in the round.
Pep Guardiolaâs men suffered a shock 3-1 loss last week away to Bodo Glimt. Also, having lost to Bayer Leverkusen in their last home game in Europe, the Blues find themselves right in the middle of a congested top eight race. They are tied with seven other teams on 13 points and must produce a hammering if they are to avoid the playoff route.
City are missing quite a number of players for this clash. Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Nico Gonzalez, Oscar Bob, and Savinho are all out injured. Rodri is also out suspended following his red card against Bodo/Glimt.
However, City still have more than enough talent to cause Gala problems. Erling Haaland was given a breather over the weekend and played just the final 18 minutes. Cityâs top scorer has netted six times in the UCL. Antoine Semenyo is having an exciting start to life as a City player, but he sits out again in Europe as he isnât yet registered.

For Galatasaray, it is not as simple as just winning this round to qualify. The Turkish giants will have to hope that other results elsewhere favor them. A win, however, will see them make the playoffs and possibly as a seeded team.
Cimbom have won three and lost three of their seven games. With 10 points, they arenât certain of staying in the competition. Okan Burukâs men defeated Karagumruk 3-1 this weekend to remain in pole position in the domestic league. They drew 1-1 at home against Atletico Madrid last time out.
Leroy Sane was an unused substitute over the weekend and will hope to have a significant impact against his former team. He will likely start in support of Victor Osimhen, who is back available after international duty with Nigeria at the AFCON.
The striker has scored six goals in five Champions League games. Gala have almost everyone available for this match, with only the suspended Metehan Baltaci and the injured Gabriel Sara unavailable.
Final Prediction:
Asian Handicap: City -1.5/2
European Handicap: City Wins
Predicted Scores: 2-1, 3-1, 3-2
Predicted Total Goals: 3, 4, 5
