Liverpool saw their 13-match unbeaten run come to an end in heartbreaking fashion away against Bournemouth Saturday. They were able to claw back from a two-goal deficit, only for Amine Adli to sink Slot’s men in the final seconds and condemn them to a 3-2 defeat.
In the Premier League, the hosts are now winless in their last five straight matches (D4, L1) and have slipped down to sixth place following wins for both Chelsea and Manchester United.

Qarabag suffered a shock 2-0 home loss to relegation-battling Kapaz on Saturday, only the team’s second league defeat of the season. With that being said, a completely different team took to the field than the one that beat Frankfurt 3-2 just a few days prior.
The Azerbaijani champions have now set a club record for most wins in the Champions League proper after beating Benfica away (3-2), FC Kobenhavn at home (2-0) and, most recently, Frankfurt at home (3-2).
With Qarabag possessing a chance to qualify past the league/group stage for the first time in team history, manager Gurban Gurbanov is clearly taking no chances. A completely rotated team took to the field in Qarabag’s 2-0 loss on Saturday and fans should expect to see a very similar lineup to the one that played vs Frankfurt for Wednesday’s match.
