Official: Real Madrid complete contract renewal with 26‑year‑old Vinicius Jr., new deal runs until 2032

Real Madrid have officially announced the contract renewal of Brazilian winger Vinicius Jr., with his new contract set to expire in 2032.

Real Madrid C.F. and Vinicius Jr. have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract, which will now run until June 30, 2032.

Vinicius Jr. joined Real Madrid in July 2018 at the age of 18. Across eight seasons in Real Madrid colours, he has made 375 appearances, scored 128 goals and claimed 14 trophies: 2 UEFA Champions League titles, 3 FIFA Club World Cup titles, 2 UEFA Super Cup titles, 3 La Liga titles, 1 Copa del Rey title and 3 Spanish Super Cup titles.

His extraordinary contributions through standout performances, assists and goals were pivotal to all these triumphs, including goals in Real Madrid’s last two UEFA Champions League finals: the 14th European crown in Paris (2022) and the 15th European crown in London (2024).

During his Real Madrid tenure, Vinicius Jr. won The Best FIFA Men’s Player 2024, Intercontinental Cup Golden Ball 2024, UEFA Champions League Player of the Season 2023‑2024, FIFA Club World Cup Golden Ball 2022 and UEFA Champions League Young Player of the Season 2021‑2022.

Furthermore, he was named in the FIFA FIFPro World XI (2024), earned two selections to the FIFA FIFPro World XI (2023, 2024), and three selections to the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season (2021‑2022, 2022‑2023 and 2023‑2024).
