Prediction: Forest Wins
Our prediction for Nottingham Forest v Wolverhampton Wanderers is that Nottingham Forest wins. Forest are having a disappointing league campaign and have struggled to win games, especially at home. Despite this and the fact that they are coming off a loss, we still feel they are the best bet for a win.
This is because they are facing off against a team that has been worse than every other side in the EPL. Wolves have lost 19 of 25 league games and haven’t won an away match in the Premier League since last season. They have also been on the receiving end in the last two showdowns with Forest.

Forest were unable to extend a three-game unbeaten run over the weekend as they were hammered 3-1 away to Leeds United. Sean Dyche’s men will be looking to emulate the Lilywhites, who at some point were knee-deep in the relegation picture but now have created significant daylight with the red zone.
The Reds have accumulated 26 points, and with West Ham victorious on the day the Tricky Trees lost at Elland Road, have now seen their advantage significantly slashed. Forest, who have won seven league games and lost another 13, are now just three points above the relegation region.
Forest are still grappling with injuries. Long-term absentees Nicolo Savona, Chris Wood, and John Victor are out of this game. Matz Sels did not play against Leeds due to a hip issue and remains a doubt, the same for Murillo, who has a calf problem.
It doesn’t get easier; Neco Williams was sent off two matchdays ago and is still suspended. Igor Jesus has managed just two league goals this term, but one of those was against Wolves. Morgan Gibbs-White is Forest’s leading scorer with six goals and has scored twice in the last four meetings with Wolves. Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has netted three of his five goals in the league, is another to look out for.

As things stand, only a miraculous run of results can save Wolves from relegation. The visitors this week look destined for the Championship after managing just eight points from 25 games. With only one win, Wolves, who have had two permanent managers this term, have lost a league-leading 19 fixtures.
Rob Edwards’ men looked out of their depth this weekend as they lost 3-1 at home to Chelsea. Suffering a third successive loss and extending their winless run to four games, Wolves gave away two penalties in the Chelsea game and were 3-0 down at halftime.
Wolves come into this clash much healthier than their hosts. Only Toti Gomes, who has been out since December with a thigh problem, is ruled out for this trip to West Bridgford. Andre missed Chelsea’s visit with a calf injury but has a strong chance of being available in midweek.
Wolves have struggled for goals, with no player having scored more than twice in the league. Tolu Arokodare was on target against Chelsea, so he could maintain his role up front. Hwang Hee-Chan and Mateus Mane, who have both scored twice, are the other options in attack.
Final Prediction:
Asian Handicap: Forest -0.5/1
European Handicap: Forest Wins
Predicted Scores: 2-0, 2-1, 3-1
Predicted Total Goals: 2, 3, 4
