A transfer journalist has discussed Inter's move to sign Diaby, stating that the terms offered by Inter are currently insufficient to complete the deal.
The journalist said: “As of today, the Diaby deal cannot be finalized: from what I understand, Inter have not offered a mandatory buy-out clause, but only an optional one, along with a clause similar to the one in the Akanji deal that converts to mandatory under specific conditions.”
"However, Al-Ittihad have blocked the player's transfer regardless of the deal structure, as they have been unable to find a replacement. The transfer cannot be completed at this stage."
