West Ham United have confirmed to Flamengo that they accept the Brazilian club’s €42 million offer for Lucas Paquetá, submitted on Thursday.
Lucas Paqueta, the midfielder of West Ham United, is set to return to his boyhood club Flamengo with a transfer fee of 42 million euros, a record-breaking figure in the history of Brazilian Serie A transfers. The two sides have reached an agreement on all the transfer details.
It is reported that West Ham United accepted the offer after holding direct talks with Flamengo's sports director. Paqueta himself will depart for Brazil today to undergo a medical examination and sign a five-year contract with Flamengo.
