Real Madrid has broken the historical record in global football jersey sales in 2025. Statistics as of November show that the club sold a total of 3,133,000 jerseys in the past 12 months, becoming the first football club in history to surpass the 3-million mark in a single annual cycle.

In this "jersey Clásico," FC Barcelona ranked second with 2,940,000 units sold, while Paris Saint-Germain took third place with 2,546,000. The top 10 clubs in global jersey sales also include Bayern Munich, Inter Miami, Boca Juniors, Manchester United,

Chelsea, Flamengo, and Al-Nassr. Geographically, European teams account for 6 spots, South American teams 2, with 1 each from the United States and Saudi Arabia.

Despite Real Madrid’s dominance at the club level, it is Barcelona’s young star Lamine Yamal who leads the individual player jersey sales rankings. The 18-year-old Spanish international sold 1,320,000 personal jerseys in 2025, topping the global list. Lionel Messi followed closely with 1,280,000 units, and Robert Lewandowski ranked third with 1,110,000.

Notably, although no Real Madrid player made it to the top 3 of the individual rankings, the club is the only one with three players in the top 10—Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Jr., and Rodrygo. The remaining spots in the individual rankings are occupied by Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, and Harry Kane.

Overall, the global jersey market in 2025 presents a distinct pattern: Real Madrid made history at the club level, while Yamal leads strongly at the individual level.
