Jürgen Klopp has served as the Global Football Director of the Red Bull Group since 2025. In an interview, he talked about his current role, his coaching career and other topics.

Klopp said: “I don't miss the dressing room. I spent long enough there, and the smell there isn't exactly pleasant either.”

He expressed his desire to pass on his experience to the coaches within the Red Bull system: “I might know a few answers because I've lived through it all myself. I want to be a one-of-a-kind partner in world football.”

Klopp spent more than 20 years working as a coach, nine of which were with Premier League club Liverpool. He said: “If I were to write a book, it would be about how to cope with public pressure. It would be a short book, just one sentence—'Ignore it'—stretched out over 200 pages.”

Talking about his immense influence during his club coaching stints, Klopp stated: "In every position I've held, I've always thought I'd stay there for a long time. Not because I was optimistic about my chances, but because that's just how I think. I want to get to know everyone, understand things, make an impact, and then hopefully achieve success."
