Ben Chilwell, currently playing for Strasbourg and formerly of Chelsea and Leicester City, gave an interview about the most memorable teammate he has ever had.
Is there any teammate whose pre-match habits left a particularly strong impression on you?
Ben Chilwell: Definitely Jamie Vardy – my teammate at Leicester City from 2015 to 2020! His habits are really not recommended for anyone to copy!
He can drink four cans of Red Bull in just one hour. On the night before a match, he drinks wine and beer at the hotel and barely sleeps. He even knocked on my door at around 3 a.m. to wake me up.
He is absolutely crazy. But even so, he can still go out and score a hat-trick.
