FC Copenhagen, the Danish giant, is considering offloading 21-year-old forward Youssoufa Moukoko in the winter transfer window, yet very few clubs have shown interest in him.

Last summer, Copenhagen spent €5 million to sign Moukoko, once hailed as a teenage prodigy, from Borussia Dortmund—a huge sum for the club—but Moukoko’s performances have failed to live up to expectations.
In his six months at Copenhagen, Moukoko has made 29 appearances in all competitions, contributing 8 goals and 2 assists, with 4 goals and 1 assist coming in cup matches against second-tier league teams. Moukoko has now lost his starting spot at Copenhagen and even falls behind a 17-year-old youngster in the team’s pecking order.
Moukoko’s market value once hit €30 million when he was 19, but due to underwhelming performances in recent years, his current market value has plummeted to €7 million.
Borussia Dortmund is also unlikely to re-sign their former prodigy; the club was relieved to get rid of Moukoko’s €8.5 million annual salary last year. Dortmund still holds a sell-on clause for Moukoko in any future transfer.
