Manchester United legend Paul Scholes stated on a podcast that he wants to see Arsenal win the Premier League title because he hates Manchester City so much.
When asked which team he hopes will win the Premier League title this season, Scholes replied without hesitation: “Arsenal.”
“But looking at the options we have, Man City, Liverpool – I know Liverpool don't have much of a chance this year – but Arsenal, it has to be Arsenal.”
Another host on the podcast interjected: “I thought you would want... I know it sounds a bit strange, but I thought you would want Man City to win, they are the Manchester team after all.”
Scholes responded: "No! They are the last team I would want to win the title, we f****** hate City."
