Lucas Paquetá is eager to depart West Ham United, so much so that he may boycott matches to force a transfer, potentially missing the upcoming fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.

Reports indicate that Paquetá is desperate to leave England and return to his native Brazil. After West Ham rejected Flamengo’s £35 million bid, the player reacted angrily and was consequently left out of the squad for the FA Cup third-round tie against Queens Park Rangers (QPR).
While manager Nuno Espírito Santo is keen to retain the midfielder, sources have told the media that Paquetá’s participation in this weekend’s match against Tottenham is far from certain.
It is understood that the 28-year-old has informed chairman David Sullivan that he has no intention of remaining on the team’s books when next season commences.
With Brazil’s transfer window open until March, the ideal scenario for West Ham would be to convince him to stay for at least a few more weeks to assist the team in their relegation battle.
