John Terry, a Chelsea legend, has praised 16-year-old prodigy Max Dowman, stating that his dribbling skills are comparable to those of Lionel Messi.
In Arsenal's match against Everton, 16-year-old Max Dowman came on as a substitute and made a significant contribution to the team's victory. Terry revealed that he was astounded by Dowman's exceptional dribbling ability when he watched the Arsenal youth team play against Chelsea.
Terry said: “Besides Lionel Messi, I've never seen anyone glide past opponents so effortlessly. This is a huge comparison, but this young man is truly a gifted talent who will play a crucial role in the future of both Arsenal and the England national team.”
His teammate Eddie Nketiah also spoke highly of Dowman: “His performance was incredible! You can see how he plays—every time he gets the ball, he shows great composure and fearlessness.”
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta added: “He plays the game so naturally and can produce decisive moments. His performance today was extraordinary.”
