The newly‑married couple Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez gave an interview to fashion magazine VOGUE, where the two talked about their outlook on married life.

Will marriage change anything? VOGUE asked the pair.

Both believe it will not. But Cristiano Ronaldo said: “The very act of becoming husband and wife takes you to another level.”

Often hailed as the world’s best player, Cristiano Ronaldo stated: “This will most likely be the last year of my football career, and I want to leave behind brilliant achievements.” Ronaldo looks forward to spending more time with his family. “My future is all mapped out. I have plenty of things to do; it is hard to name just one. Life after football may leave a huge void, and you have to fill your time in many different ways, not just one single way. I also want to enjoy more fun, travel more, watch and play padel tennis which I love so much, and keep enjoying everything I have won, everything we have won together. After all, I have given so much over these past 25 years.”

Will they have more children?

Perhaps seven? The couple have not ruled out this possibility. “I never say ‘never’,” said Cristiano Ronaldo. Georgina Rodríguez added: “Adding another baby now would make our household overcrowded. But when our youngest children reach the age of fifteen or sixteen, we will still be young, so why not? Truth be told, I cannot imagine my life without little kids around, so we will just have to wait and see.”
