After landing in the United States with the Norway national team to kick off preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, skipper Martin Ødegaard spoke to reporters and shared his thoughts.

On arriving in the US
“The atmosphere is fantastic, it feels great to finally get here. We’ve waited such a long time for this moment, so it’s really enjoyable; this is something you dream of your whole life. It’s incredible to be here, and every single one of us is really looking forward to it.”
On Norway’s tournament targets
“We will give absolutely everything we’ve got. We know we possess high quality and need to work hard to unlock our very best form. Once we hit top gear, we’re convinced we can beat any side out there. Our immediate clear goal is to qualify from the group stage, and after that we’ll take things game by game. That’s what we’re striving hard to achieve.”
